The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has rejected social media reports claiming that its chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is set to marry a woman from a prominent European family. Karachi Mayor and PPP leader Murtaza Wahab described reports about Bilawal’s engagement or marriage as “incorrect and unfounded”, making it clear that there is no basis for the claims.
The rumours suggested that Bilawal was planning to marry a woman linked to the former Austrian royal family. Some posts also claimed that his father, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, had travelled to Liechtenstein to discuss and finalise wedding arrangements. However, there has been no credible confirmation of these claims, and neither Bilawal nor his family has made any official announcement regarding an engagement or wedding.
