

The lottery process for allotting Indiramma houses in the towers being constructed by the government within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits will begin on August 27. Housing Board Vice-Chairman V.P. Gautam said the process will be conducted for four days, from August 27 to 30, covering four Assembly constituencies each day. As part of the target to construct one lakh houses within the ORR limits, applications were invited for 7,340 houses across 16 Assembly constituencies under a pilot project.
Verification of applications is currently underway. Officials are checking details including whether applicants have permanent residence in Hyderabad and whether they own a flat or plot within the ORR limits. Applicant details will be made available online from Thursday evening through https://ts.meeseva.telangana.gov.in/, tghb.cgg.gov.in and tghb.telangana.gov.in. Objections can be submitted until the evening of August 23, while the final list of eligible applicants will be announced on August 25.
The lottery will be conducted transparently in the presence of Revenue and Housing Board officials and the media. The process will also be livestreamed through YouTube and other platforms. Draws will be conducted according to reservations for SC, ST, BC, persons with disabilities and other categories. A 20% waiting list will also be prepared for every category through the lottery.
