Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan met his wife Bushra Bibi and sister Noreen at Adiala Jail on Wednesday. The meeting took place nearly nine months after the Supreme Court directed authorities to allow Khan to meet his family once a week. Meanwhile, legal proceedings are underway to facilitate his transfer to a hospital.

Imran Khan has been serving prison sentences in cases including Toshakhana and the Al-Qadir Trust case. Concerns over his health have grown amid reports of prolonged isolation and restricted family access. The Pakistan Supreme Court has also directed authorities to take necessary steps to move him to a hospital, citing concerns surrounding his health.
