Bhogapuram Airport Gets New AC Electric Buses

To improve airport connectivity and provide greater convenience to passengers travelling to Bhogapuram Airport, 20 AC electric buses have been introduced between Visakhapatnam and Bhogapuram. Minister for Civil Supplies Anagani Satyaprasad and MP Bharat jointly launched the Airport Express AC EV bus services. Following the inauguration, the minister and the MP travelled on one of the newly launched buses and reviewed the service arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Anagani Satyaprasad said the electric bus services would offer passengers a comfortable and environment-friendly mode of transport to the upcoming airport. He also said that Andhra Pradesh has been allocated 1,000 buses under the PM-eBus service scheme, of which 100 buses have been allotted to Visakhapatnam. The new Airport Express services are expected to strengthen public transport connectivity between Visakhapatnam and Bhogapuram Airport.
