Bhogapuram Airport Begins Operations, First IndiGo Flight Lands

Operations have officially commenced at Bhogapuram Airport in Vizianagaram district. The airport witnessed a significant milestone with the landing of the first IndiGo flight, which arrived from Hyderabad. Airport officials welcomed the passengers upon their arrival and marked the occasion with a special gesture.

As part of the welcome, passengers were presented with traditional Etikoppaka wooden toys as souvenirs. The commencement of operations at Bhogapuram marks a major development for air connectivity in the region. With flights now operating from Bhogapuram, the Visakhapatnam Airport will remain closed from today as flight operations shift to the new airport.
