Bharti Airtel has introduced a new service called ‘Priority Postpaid’ for its postpaid customers. The telecom company stated that the service is designed to provide uninterrupted and reliable connectivity through advanced 5G network slicing technology. With this launch, Airtel has become one of the first telecom operators to introduce such priority-based 5G services for users in India.
According to Airtel, all postpaid plans starting from ₹449 will be eligible for Priority Postpaid benefits, including unlimited calls, data, 3000 SMS, fraud detection, and spam alerts. Existing Airtel postpaid users will automatically receive the service, while prepaid and other network users can upgrade through the Airtel Thanks app or Airtel stores. The company explained that its Fastlane technology and 5G network slicing will allocate dedicated bandwidth to priority users, ensuring stable connectivity even during network congestion in crowded areas.
