Bhagirath Arrested, Sent to Judicial Custody

Cyberabad Police arrested Bandi Sai Bhagirath alias Bhagirath in connection with a case registered at Petbasheerabad Police Station. Based on a complaint filed by the minor victim on May 8, police registered a case and later added stricter legal sections following the victim’s statement.

During the investigation, officials recorded statements from the victim and other witnesses. Special police teams were sent to Karimnagar, Delhi, and several other locations to trace the accused. A lookout circular was also issued as part of the search operation.

Acting on credible information, the Cyberabad Special Operations Team apprehended Bhagirath near Manchirevula Tech Park under the Narsingi Police Station limits. Police stated that the accused admitted to the offence during questioning. After medical examinations, he was produced before a magistrate and remanded to judicial custody.
