The expansion and redevelopment works of the historic Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple in Bhadrachalam are set to commence today. The state government has prepared a comprehensive master plan worth ₹586 crore to modernize temple infrastructure while preserving its spiritual and cultural heritage.
As part of the first phase, development works worth ₹200 crore will be taken up. The project aims to improve facilities for devotees, enhance the temple premises, and complete the initial phase before Sri Rama Navami next year, ensuring a better pilgrimage experience for visitors.
