Belgian Diamond Centre to Present Luxury Ring to Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump is expected to receive a diamond-studded ring valued at more than ₹21 lakh from Belgium's Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC). The organisation announced that the ring is being presented as a commemorative gift during the United States' 250th anniversary celebrations. Trump had previously received several high-profile gifts, including a luxury aircraft reportedly gifted by the Qatar government.

According to the AWDC, the gesture also acknowledges the US decision to remove tariffs on polished diamond imports from Belgium. The organisation stated that Belgium exports polished diamonds worth nearly ₹16,800 crore to the United States every year, and the tariff exemption has provided significant relief to the country's diamond industry.
