BCI Must Apologize Unconditionally - NALSAR Students

Students of NALSAR University have raised objections to the conduct of Bar Council of India (BCI) Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra. In a letter, they demanded that the BCI issue an immediate and unconditional apology. The students said they did not want Chief Justice Surya Kant and BCI Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra to attend their convocation as chief guests.

The students also demanded that Manan Kumar Mishra apologise to the students and faculty members without delay. They questioned why he used the official BCI letterhead and sought an explanation from the BCI on the matter. The students urged the council to clarify the circumstances surrounding the use of its official letterhead.
