Punjab Kings pacer Arshdeep Singh is well known for posting entertaining reels and travel videos on social media after every match. His vlogs often go viral among cricket fans. However, reports suggest that the BCCI has advised Arshdeep not to post any more vlogs until the end of IPL 2026 following a recent controversy involving teammate Yuzvendra Chahal.
The issue surfaced after Punjab Kings’ match against Sunrisers Hyderabad when Arshdeep shared a travel vlog during the team’s journey from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad. In the video, Yuzvendra Chahal appeared to be vaping while partially covering his face with his hands, which sparked debate on social media. Neither Chahal nor the franchise has officially responded so far. Earlier this season, Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag was also fined after being seen smoking in the dressing room. Reports now suggest that the BCCI has asked Arshdeep to avoid posting such videos for the remainder of the tournament.
