Ayodhya Trust Petition Reaches Supreme Court

A petition seeking a court monitored investigation into the alleged financial irregularities involving the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has reached the Supreme Court. The petitioner requested an independent inquiry under the supervision of the apex court into the allegations related to the trust.

However, the Supreme Court declined to grant an urgent hearing on the matter. The bench advised the petitioner’s counsel to mention the case on June 29 for further consideration. The matter is expected to come up before the court at a later stage.
