Ayodhya Trust Leaders Resign Amid Donation Scam Allegations

A major development has emerged in the alleged Ayodhya donation scam. Ayodhya Trust General Secretary Champat Rai has resigned from his position, while Trust member Anil Mishra has also stepped down. The resignations come as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) continues its probe into allegations that nearly ₹200 crore in donations were misappropriated.

The SIT has already arrested eight people in connection with the case, including Champat Rai's driver, Tinnu Yadav. Investigators are continuing to examine financial records and other evidence as the probe progresses. Officials are expected to take further action based on the findings of the ongoing investigation.
