The Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust has dismissed allegations that a gold-plated copy of the Ramcharitmanas, reportedly valued at ₹5 crore, had gone missing from the temple. Responding to the claims, the Trust publicly displayed the sacred book before the media, stating that it remains safe and secure. The move was aimed at putting an end to speculation surrounding the donated manuscript.
The Trust clarified that every item donated to the temple is properly documented and entered into an official register. It further stated that devotees are welcome to visit and verify the records if required. According to the Trust, the allegations are baseless, and complete transparency is being maintained in the management and preservation of all offerings received by the temple.
