Police have reportedly registered a case against Sumanth, former OSD to Telangana Minister Konda Surekha, along with five others. The case was registered based on a complaint filed by Gongadi Harikrishna at the Medipally Police Station. In his complaint, Harikrishna alleged that Sumanth and five others attacked him with iron rods. Based on the complaint, police booked all six individuals.
A case was reportedly registered against Sumanth under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Medipally police initially registered a Zero FIR and later transferred the case to the Jubilee Hills Police Station, according to officials. Further details of the alleged incident are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
