AP: Governor Quota MLCs Finalised..

The Andhra Pradesh government has finalised the names of Varla Ramaiah and Dalavai Ramadevi for nomination as Members of the Legislative Council under the Governor’s quota. The decision is expected to provide representation to both leaders in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council.

Varla Ramaiah is currently a member of the TDP Politburo. The government has decided to provide him representation in the Legislative Council under the Scheduled Caste category. Dalavai Ramadevi is serving as the TDP Anganwadi president for the Anantapur Lok Sabha constituency. Their nominations are now set to bring two more TDP representatives into the Legislative Council.
