AP Government on Alert Over Nepal Floods

The Andhra Pradesh government has sounded an alert following the floods in Nepal and is taking steps to ascertain whether any residents from the state are stranded or affected by the disaster. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to identify Andhra Pradesh residents caught in the floods and ensure that they are moved to safe locations at the earliest.

The state government is coordinating with the Centre to provide assistance to affected travellers. A dedicated control room has been established at AP Bhavan in Delhi to facilitate communication and support. The Chief Minister has instructed officials to continuously monitor the situation through RTG and extend all possible support to affected pilgrims and travellers.
