

A fishing boat carrying Andhra Pradesh fishermen reached the Paradip coast in Odisha after facing trouble at sea due to an engine malfunction. Ten fishermen onboard were safely rescued by the Odisha government, Coast Guard, marine police, and fisheries officials. Authorities responded quickly despite adverse weather conditions and are making arrangements to shift the fishermen from Paradip to Visakhapatnam.
Boat driver Kare Chinna underwent medical examinations after the incident. MLA Vamsi Krishna met Chinna and enquired about the accident. According to the MLA, Chinna witnessed six fellow fishermen drowning in front of his eyes and is still in deep shock. Search and rescue operations are continuing to trace the missing fishermen, and authorities are closely monitoring the situation.
