

The eighth Andhra Pradesh Collectors’ Conference will be held today and tomorrow under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Ministers are also expected to participate in the two-day conference, which will review the progress of decisions taken during previous meetings. Officials are expected to present action-taken reports on earlier directives. The first day will focus on key development priorities, including Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), the Swarna Andhra Vision and the Super Six schemes. Discussions will also cover drinking water supply, housing, education and healthcare.
The second day will focus on administrative reforms and governance-related issues. E-governance, speedy disposal of pending files and the functioning of the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS) are expected to come up for detailed review. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will also assess the steps being taken by district administrations to address public grievances and improve service delivery. The conference is expected to provide further directions to collectors on implementing government priorities at the district level.
