AP CEO Office Reveals Details on SIR

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer’s office has released the latest details on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Of the 44.28 lakh notices issued across the state, verification has been completed for 44.25 lakh notices. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have also examined the photographs of 3.71 crore electors, with photo quality approved for 3.70 crore voters.

According to the latest figures, photo quality checks for 40,927 electors are still pending with BLOs, while 4.52 lakh checks are pending with Electoral Registration Officers (EROs). Several Form-6 applications also remain pending across the state, with higher numbers reported in Tirupati, Nellore and YSR Kadapa districts. Officials are focusing on completing the remaining verification work and processing claims and objections.
