

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, approved several key proposals focusing on employment, welfare, education, irrigation, and infrastructure. The Cabinet discussed the second phase of recruitment for 3,168 government posts, with the Chief Minister directing the Cabinet Sub Committee to review the matter further before the next meeting. It also approved the 'Nethanna Bharosa' scheme, under which BPL handloom families with members below 50 years of age will receive ₹25,000 annually.
The Cabinet also approved ₹50 crore for Godavari Pushkaram security arrangements, administrative sanction of ₹641 crore for the Neradi Barrage, increased funding for HNSS Phase II works, and land allocations for renewable energy, education, healthcare, and industrial projects. It also cleared the inclusion of Vishnu Women’s University and Chalapathi University in the list of private universities and extended a government guarantee of ₹300 crore loan to AP MARKFED.
