

Another depression has formed over the Bay of Bengal between the Myanmar and Andaman regions. The weather system is likely to intensify into a deep depression within the next 12 hours, according to weather authorities. It is currently moving towards the north-northwest and is expected to travel along the Myanmar-Bangladesh coast. The system may cross the coast between the northeast Bay of Bengal and Bangladesh within the next 72 hours.
The system is expected to bring rainfall to Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Thunderstorms and lightning may occur at isolated places, while strong winds of around 30–40 kmph are likely in some areas. Residents are advised to remain alert as the weather system continues to move towards the northeast Bay of Bengal and Bangladesh.
