The Telangana government is implementing enhanced service end benefits for Anganwadi teachers and helpers following the initiative of Minister Seethakka. Under the revised benefits, Anganwadi teachers retiring at the age of 65 will receive Rs.2 lakh, while helpers will receive Rs.1 lakh. The benefits were increased from the earlier Rs.1 lakh and Rs.50,000 respectively through an order issued on May 30, 2025.
The revised benefits also apply to Anganwadi teachers and helpers aged 60 years or above who voluntarily disengage from service. Under the voluntary disengagement benefit, teachers will receive Rs.2 lakh and helpers Rs.1 lakh. The government said Rs.15.61 crore has already been paid to 2,572 beneficiaries.
