Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the state is ready to implement policies that accelerate development and attract investments, industries and employment. Speaking at the preparatory event for the CII Partnership Summit 2026 in Delhi on Thursday, he said the government aims to achieve 15% growth and position Andhra Pradesh as one of India’s leading investment destinations. Over the past 24 months, the state has secured 714 projects involving investments worth ₹22.6 lakh crore. Government orders have been issued for 473 projects worth ₹16.6 lakh crore, while work has begun on 247 projects valued at ₹4.7 lakh crore. These projects are expected to create around 7.1 lakh jobs, he said.
Naidu announced that an online, real-time system for disbursing industrial incentives would be launched on November 12 during the CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam. He highlighted plans for river-linking, green energy expansion and the development of a semiconductor ecosystem in Tirupati, for which 10,000 acres are being allocated. The state has agreements for 110 GW of power generation as part of its 500 GW green-energy ambition, he said, adding that the government aims to launch the Polavaram project in March 2027. Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said Andhra Pradesh has an important role in India’s growth and cited projects such as Google’s data centre in Visakhapatnam and the Quantum Computing Valley in Amaravati. He urged industry leaders to explore investment opportunities at the upcoming summit in Visakhapatnam.
