

Andhra Pradesh has secured the second position at the national level in the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Panchayat Satat Vikas Puraskar–2025 and Nanaji Deshmukh Sarvottam Panchayat Satat Puraskar–2025 awards. The recognition was awarded by the Central Government for the state’s outstanding efforts in strengthening local self-governance through various development initiatives implemented by the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat Raj Minister Pawan Kalyan congratulated the sarpanches, public representatives, officials, and villagers of Sringavaram, Bokkasampalem, Chemullapalli, and Gundamala gram panchayats for winning awards in different categories. He also appreciated Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for extending continuous support toward rural development and strengthening local governance in the state.
