Ananthagiri Ghat Road Bus Crash: Police Launch Rescue Operations

A serious bus accident occurred on Ananthagiri Ghat Road in Telangana’s Vikarabad district on Saturday morning. According to Vikarabad Superintendent of Police Sneha Mehra, four passengers were killed in the accident. The bus was carrying several passengers when the mishap occurred, and the vehicle reportedly lost control while travelling on the ghat road. Police, emergency teams and ambulances immediately reached the spot and launched rescue operations.

The injured passengers were rescued with the help of police personnel and local residents and shifted to Vikarabad Government Hospital for treatment. Doctors and medical officials are closely monitoring those who suffered serious injuries, while arrangements are being made to shift patients requiring advanced treatment to super-speciality hospitals. The exact circumstances that led to the accident are being investigated by the authorities.
