Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to chair an important meeting with Superintendents of Police from border districts across the country. The meeting will primarily review measures to prevent illegal infiltration and enhance surveillance in sensitive border regions, with a special focus on emerging security challenges.
Officials are also expected to discuss monitoring demographic changes in border areas, tackling drone-based threats and drug smuggling, and improving coordination between Central and State security agencies. The meeting is aimed at strengthening border security and ensuring a more effective response to evolving national security concerns.
