Ambati Rambabu Makes Interesting Remarks During Guntur Nomination Rally

YSRCP leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu’s remarks during the nomination event of the party’s Guntur mayoral candidate, Tadikonda Alivelu Venkata Nagapadma Sridevi, drew attention. Addressing police personnel, Rambabu said the YSRCP would return to power in Andhra Pradesh in 2029 and that he would serve as Home Minister for the first six months. His comments prompted laughter among the party leaders and police personnel present at the spot.

On Sunday, YSRCP leaders began a rally from the party office in Guntur towards the Returning Officer’s office to file the nomination. Near the RO office, police stopped the leaders by putting up barricades. Responding to the situation, Rambabu said that all the police personnel present were good, except one, in an apparent reference to Pattabhipuram Circle Inspector who was on duty there.
