Ambani Family Tops India’s Richest Business Families List..!

Mukesh Ambani’s family has retained its position as India’s richest business family, according to the 2026 Barclays Private Clients Hurun India list. The Ambani family recorded wealth of Rs 25.8 lakh crore, despite an overall 8.5% decline in domestic wealth during the period covered by the report.

Gautam Adani’s family ranked second with wealth of Rs 19.6 lakh crore, while the family of Airtel promoter Sunil Bharti Mittal secured third place with Rs 12.1 lakh crore. Kumar Mangalam Birla’s family followed with wealth of Rs 8.14 lakh crore. The report noted that the combined value of businesses owned by the top 300 Indian business families stood at around Rs 138 lakh crore, exceeding the economies of several countries. Their businesses are estimated to have added an average of Rs 4,076 crore in value every day over the past two years.
