

The hearing in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case was held at the Nampally Court on Monday. Actor Allu Arjun appeared before the court through video conference. The actor had sought permission for virtual appearance due to his shooting schedule, and the court allowed him to attend the proceedings online. The case relates to the stampede that occurred during the premiere screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024.
The incident resulted in the death of a woman, Revathi, while her young son was critically injured. Allu Arjun was named as accused number 11 in the case. The Nampally Court has now adjourned the matter to September 1 for the next hearing. The case continues to be closely watched as proceedings against the accused move forward.
