All Land Issues in Andhra Pradesh Will Be Resolved by March: AP CM Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that all land-related issues in the state will be resolved by March. Speaking at the ‘Mee Bhoomi–Mee Hakku’ programme in Machavaram under the P. Gannavaram constituency of Konaseema district, he said the government was working to eliminate the perception that people had to pay money to get their work done in the Revenue Department. He said the coalition government had repealed the Land Titling Act and made land security one of its key priorities.

Chandrababu said land records were being strengthened through comprehensive re-surveys and advanced technology, with secure pattadar passbooks being issued to beneficiaries. According to him, 36 lakh people have received passbooks so far and the government aims to distribute them to 56 lakh people by March. He said governance should involve reaching out to people, understanding their problems and framing policies accordingly. He also highlighted welfare initiatives under the Super Six and P4 programmes and said the government would continue supporting people until they could live with dignity. During the programme, he personally handed over pattadar passbooks to farmers. State ministers Anagani Satyaprasad, Achchennaidu and Vasamsetti Subhash, among others, attended the event.
