Global leader in digital orthodontic technology, Align Technology, has announced a major investment in Telangana. The company has decided to set up its first manufacturing facility in India in Hyderabad with an investment of ₹1,800 crore. This proposed facility will be the fourth of its kind globally for the company.
An MoU was signed in Hyderabad on Thursday in the presence of IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu between Align Technology Senior Vice President Jitse Marie and Telangana Life Sciences CEO Sarvesh Singh. The facility will operate using advanced 3D printing, digital manufacturing systems, and modern engineering technologies. It is expected to play a key role in increasing the company’s global production capacity to around 1 million custom clear aligner components per day. The plant is likely to begin operations in 2027 and will create over 300 direct jobs in its initial phase.
