Alert People About Elephant Movement: Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Forest and Environment Pawan Kalyan has directed forest officials to alert and reassure residents in areas around Erravaripalem near Chandragiri in Tirupati district following reports of elephant herds moving through the region. He instructed officials to continuously monitor the elephants, use drones to track their movement routes and provide regular updates to nearby villages. He also directed the Forest, Revenue and Police departments to work in coordination to prevent loss of life and property.

Pawan Kalyan called for special night patrols in villages located near forest areas and urged officials to discourage residents from entering agricultural fields at night in vulnerable areas. He directed authorities to issue warnings through public announcement systems, mobile messages and local communication networks. H.A.N.U.M.A.N. teams should be deployed wherever necessary, while field-level staff must remain alert around the clock. He also assured that immediate compensation would be provided through the Forest Department once reports of crop damage caused by elephants are submitted.
