Aishwarya Gowda’s Anticipatory Bail Plea Rejected

The Srirangapatna 3rd Additional District and Sessions Court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea filed by Aishwarya Gowda, daughter of MLA Suresh Gowda, in connection with a case alleging that she assaulted a woman sub inspector. The incident reportedly occurred on the 12th of last month at the Sri Ahalyadevi Temple in Arathi Ukkada, Srirangapatna taluk of Mandya district, where SI Savitha was on duty. Aishwarya Gowda allegedly got into an argument with the officer during the incident.

Following the incident, SI Savitha lodged a complaint at the Kyathanahalli Police Station, alleging that Aishwarya had assaulted her. A case was subsequently registered against Aishwarya Gowda. Fearing arrest, she approached the court seeking anticipatory bail, but the court rejected her plea. With the bail application dismissed, Aishwarya Gowda now faces the possibility of arrest in the case.
