Advanced Testing Laboratory Ready in Tirumala - Venkaiah Chowdary

The advanced Food and Water Analysis Laboratory established in Tirumala has become fully operational, according to TTD Additional Executive Officer Venkaiah Chowdary. He visited the laboratory and reviewed its first analysis report. The facility, inaugurated by Chief Minister Chandrababu on March 21, completed all required standards and began operations within two and a half months.

The laboratory is equipped with more than 50 advanced instruments and has 30 scientists, technical experts, and laboratory technicians. Every day, officials collect 40 food samples and 20 water samples from kitchens, Annaprasadam centers, laddus, hotels, and water lines in Tirumala for testing. The TTD also plans to recruit 20 permanent employees soon.
