Advanced health app launched based on ABDM

Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Monday launched the Aarogya Setu 2.0 app, an upgraded version of the COVID-era application. The platform enables citizens to access personal health records, insurance coverage, and claim details in a unified digital space.

Built under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), the app features a “scan and share” option, ABHA ID creation, digital health record management, and hospital registration services. Nadda also launched the Unified Health Interface (UHI) to enhance healthcare access. He emphasized that health is a key pillar of Viksit Bharat 2047, along with new guidelines under the Anemia Mukt Bharat initiative.
