ACB Searches at Homes of Former DSP Bheem Reddy’s Suspected Benamis

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has intensified its investigation into the disproportionate assets case involving former DSP Sankireddy Bheem Reddy. Officials conducted searches at the residences and premises of eight people suspected of having financial and other transactions with Bheem Reddy, including locations in Puppalaguda and other parts of Hyderabad. The searches covered 10 locations in Hyderabad and Zaheerabad, with officials examining and seizing property documents, financial records and other material linked to the suspected benami assets.

According to the ACB, officials found ₹1.35 crore in cash at the residence of Bomma Venkatesh, along with foreign currency and around 14 litres of foreign liquor. The liquor-related findings were reported to the Excise Department for further action. Investigators are continuing to examine the suspected benami properties and financial transactions allegedly linked to Bheem Reddy. Further details are expected after the seized documents and other material are scrutinised.
