The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) is conducting searches at the residences and properties linked to Bhujanga Rao, a police officer accused in the phone tapping case. Bhujanga Rao, who served in the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police, was previously suspended by the government over allegations related to his role in the case.
The latest searches are being carried out at his residences as well as the homes of his relatives and family members. He has long faced allegations of amassing disproportionate assets. According to reports, ACB officials are conducting raids at around 15 locations connected to him as part of the ongoing investigation.
