Abhijit Deepke Clarifies Fake Video Controversy

CJP founder Abhijit Deepke has clarified his social media post targeting Jitendra Mishra, the CEO of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, after facing criticism over a video he shared on X. Deepke said he was unaware that the video was fake when he posted it. He added that everyone has the right to live their personal life as they choose and said he had no objection to anyone’s personal choices.

On Sunday, Deepke shared a video of a man dancing to the song ‘Jamal Kudu’ from Bobby Deol’s film and identified him as Jitendra Mishra. He questioned whether someone holding a position in the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust should engage in such activities. However, netizens criticised Deepke for sharing an allegedly fake video despite being the founder of the Cockroach Janata Party. Retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra was recently appointed CEO of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust. The 62-year-old has served in the Indian Air Force and received several medals, and reportedly commanded the Western Command during Operation Sindoor last year.
