Actor Naresh has voiced strong concerns over the use of ethanol-blended petrol, calling it a serious issue affecting vehicle owners. He described the policy as a “red signal” for the BJP, stating that the increased use of ethanol fuel is causing inconvenience across different sections of society. Sharing his personal experience, Naresh revealed that his new luxury car, a Porsche Panamera, suffered damages worth nearly Rs. 12 lakh due to ethanol petrol usage.
He further stated that he is now compelled to use high-octane 100 petrol, which costs around Rs. 165 per litre, to avoid further damage. Naresh questioned the broader impact of this issue, highlighting that while wealthy individuals may afford expensive fuel alternatives, the burden on common people who rely on regular petrol is far more significant. His remarks have sparked discussions about fuel policies and their real-world implications.
