

Saroj Ranjan Kar, a resident of the Dargah Bazar area in Cuttack, Odisha, has dedicated more than four decades to preserving the history of cricket through an extraordinary memorabilia collection. Since 1982, he has gathered jerseys, caps, gloves, bats and helmets used by cricketers from 14 different countries, making his private collection one of the most remarkable in the region.
His collection also includes more than 2,500 autographs from legendary cricketers, including Sir Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, along with over 100 bats signed by international players. Kar now hopes to transform his priceless collection into a cricket museum, allowing young enthusiasts to explore the sport's rich legacy and inspiring future generations of cricket lovers.
