

As part of the vision for Viksit Bharat 2047, the national launch of the VB-G RAM G programme from Mukkavaripalli in Railway Koduru constituency, Andhra Pradesh, marked a historic milestone. The state government expressed gratitude to Union Minister for Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan for launching the initiative from Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the Centre’s confidence in the state’s transparent governance and effective implementation. Under this initiative, Andhra Pradesh has been allocated ₹7,707 crore, along with ₹422 crore under PMGSY-IV for 146 road projects covering 347 km and the construction of 19 bridges.
These investments go beyond infrastructure, aiming to boost rural aspirations, empower farmers, create opportunities for youth, and strengthen the rural economy. The government credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong commitment to rural development as a driving force behind such initiatives. It emphasized that the allocation is both an honour and a responsibility, assuring that every rupee will be utilized effectively to deliver quality infrastructure and sustainable growth. Under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the state remains committed to building empowered communities and contributing to the vision of a developed India.
