Preparations for the grand Jagannath Rath Yatra are underway in Udaipur, Rajasthan, where artisans are giving final touches to a spectacular 95-kg silver chariot. Designed with 58 detachable components, the chariot measures nearly 21 feet in height and 17 feet in length, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship and traditional artistry.
Five days before the Rath Yatra, skilled craftsmen will assemble all the parts in a precise sequence to prepare the chariot for the grand procession. After the celebrations conclude on July 16, the structure will be carefully dismantled and preserved for future use.
