

Telangana is witnessing a severe heatwave crisis as temperatures continue to soar across the state. As many as 34 people have reportedly died due to heatstroke in a single day, raising serious concerns. Temperatures have crossed 46 degrees Celsius in at least 16 districts, causing widespread distress among the public. The Meteorological Department has warned that the intense heat conditions are likely to persist for the next four days.
A red alert has been issued for multiple districts including Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagitial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanamkonda. Authorities have advised people to take necessary precautions and avoid stepping out during peak afternoon hours. Experts stress the need for urgent measures to safeguard public health and minimize further casualties.
