A shocking case of alleged human trafficking and cybercrime exploitation has come to light, with around 300 Telugu youths reportedly trapped in Myanmar. The victims were allegedly promised software jobs in Singapore but were first taken to Cambodia and later moved to Myanmar, where criminal groups are forcing them to participate in cyber fraud operations.
According to information shared by the victims, those who fail to meet assigned targets are allegedly subjected to physical torture, electric shocks and other forms of abuse. Women among the victims have reportedly faced harassment, while many are forced to work for nearly 18 hours a day with limited food. Families have appealed to authorities to take immediate steps for their safe return.
