Two tribal residents from Wankidi mandal in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district undertook an approximately 300-km padayatra to Erravelli with a single wish—to see BRS chief and former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao return as Chief Minister. Jadde Tirupathi, an auto driver, and Durgam Shankar, a hotel worker, walked for 11 days, covering nearly 25 km a day, driven by their admiration for KCR. With the support of Asifabad MLA Kova Laxmi, they secured an appointment with KCR and met him at his residence.
KCR warmly welcomed the two fans, enquired about their well-being and appreciated their determination and affection. The duo said they undertook the journey without any personal demands or petitions, solely with the desire to see KCR become Chief Minister again. KCR congratulated them and encouraged them, saying, “Our government is coming again. Then, definitely come and meet me.” He later arranged a special vehicle for them to return to their native place.
