The Telangana State Government has decided to distribute 2 lakh new Cheyutha pensions starting from June 2, further strengthening its social welfare initiatives. These pensions will be provided to eligible beneficiaries across various categories, ensuring broader coverage and support for those in need.
In recent years, the government has removed over 3 lakh pensions that were found to be ineligible or belonged to deceased individuals. Following this cleanup, the authorities have made provisions to introduce 2 lakh new pensions, aiming to extend financial assistance to deserving citizens and improve the efficiency of welfare distribution.
