Samantha’s Wedding Saree: Where Tradition, Art, and Emotion Come Together

Samantha Ruth Prabhu married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1, 2025, at the peaceful Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore. Her red Banarasi wedding saree, custom-made by designer Arpita Mehta, became a major highlight. Woven in pure Katan satin silk with powder-zari motifs, cutwork borders, and delicate beige-gold zardozi work, the saree reflects the richness of Indian handcraft. It took one skilled weaver nearly three weeks to create it. The blouse featured artwork by Jayati Bose, symbolizing nature and divine blessings. Samantha’s bridal look was designed to be simple, spiritual, and deeply rooted in Indian tradition.
