With the 2015 release of the Malayalam blockbuster Premam, Anupama Parameswaran made her film debut and became an immediate star at the age of 19. She immediately became one of the most well-liked actresses in South India thanks to her endearing appearance and superb acting. She didn't get big-star roles early on, despite having several hits in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam movies. Shatamanam Bhavati, her Telugu debut, demonstrated her versatility and won her widespread praise.
