Calm in controversy, bold in frame — the Poonam way!

After posting a daring new image to her Instagram account, Poonam Pandey , with the caption, "Too hot for filters," Poonam Pandey is once again in the news. She shocked many earlier this year by traveling to Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, where she took a holy dip during Mauni Amavasya and described the experience as spiritually purifying. Months later, though, she made headlines for a different reason when, in response to cultural groups' protests, she was taken off the stage as Mandodari in the renowned Luv Kush Ramlila at Delhi's Red Fort. Poonam responded with poise and composure in spite of the controversy.
